- Parish of the Church of St. Sergius of Radonezh Lynga of the Yakshur-Bodyinsky deanery was formed by decree of His Eminence Victorine Metropolitan of Izhevsk and Udmurtia on July 6, 2017. Divine services are performed in the prayer room of the Parish of the Church of St. Sergius of Radonezh with. Lynga, which is located in the Lynginskaya district hospital, in the social rehabilitation department of the "Comprehensive Center for Social Services for the Population of the Yakshur-Bodyinsky District". Every week, the rector of the parish, priest Anatoly Saltykov, on the territory of the construction of the temple, as well as in the prayer room, worship is performed: a prayer service for health and a memorial service for repose. In 2013, at the initiative of the head of the Moscow Charitable Foundation named after A. Academician I.P. Pavlov, a native of Lyngi, Professor Vorobyov S.I., commemorative crosses were installed on the site of the former 147th GULAG colony and in the village itself, next to the village club, where the headquarters of the colony was once located. A temple dedicated to the memory of all victims of political repression is being erected on this site. The rite of consecration of the worship cross on the site of the future church in honor of St. Sergius of Radonezh was performed by the confessor of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, Schema-Archimandrite Ily (Nozdrin) and Archpriest Alexy Spassky.
