- Mitred Archpriest Igor Zorin, Dean of the Uva District, petitioned for the construction of a new church in honor of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos. It was built with the blessing of the Metropolitan of Izhevsk and Udmurt Nicholas for 12 years (since 2003.). The main organizers and inspirers of the construction of a new temple in the Pervomaisky area were the spouses Alexei and Natalia Muraev, who are raising 10 children (5 of their own and 5 adopted). They ordered the project, completed the necessary documentation, laid the foundation and fenced off the construction site. The temple was built with public funds. The money for surveying the land was donated by the families of the Glebovs, Muraevs and Godyaevs. The Muraevs worked free of charge in the expansion of the altar: Alexei and the eldest son Maxim. The porch to the temple was built by the Domashny family. The patron of our temple is the general director of Breeze LLC Shchepin Gleb Nikolaevich. Many Uvinian believers donate wonderful icons, essential household items, and flower seedlings to the temple for landscaping. Good and necessary helpers in our church are: the Afanasyev family, the Babkins, the Mezentsevs, and many others. The construction has not yet been completed, so all Orthodox Christians who wish can work on the improvement of the temple for the glory of God. On July 7, 2015, an antimension was consecrated for the Church of the Intercession of the Mother of God in order to perform the most important Church Sacrament - the Liturgy.
