История:: In 2009, Archbishop Jeremías Ferens issued a Decree creating the Monastery "Presentation of the Lord in the Temple". Said monastery is located in the town of Uru Sapucai , Department of Itapúa , Republic of Paraguay , in an area of almost 7 hectares donated by the landowner and Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Paraguay, HE Andrés Trociuk Levko. The construction of the monastery began in 2010, ending in the second half of 2012. On February 16, 2013, Archbishop Ferens blessed the building and consecrated the Chapel "Holy Innocent Martyrs of Bethlehem". The building and habilitation works concluded at the beginning of 2014, which meant that in February of that year its public operation was authorized. In charge of the monastery, the Hieromonk Demetrius has been appointed, who was elevated to the dignity of Higumeno (Abbot) in 2010. And in 2018 to the position of Archimandrite. The monastic community is made up of a total of 3 people in addition to the Abbot.
