Fundraising for construction began in 1875. The peasants chose Alexander Ivanovich Turovsky as the builder of the temple. At the expense of residents in 1876, the construction of a three-altar temple began. The prototype for the village church was one of the richest churches in the city of Tambov - Nativity of Christ. In 1878, a massive fire destroyed three quarters of the village, leaving many residents almost beggars. Donations were collected gradually, bit by bit, there were no large receipts. The exterior decoration of the temple was completed only in 1888. On September 25 (October 7), 1890, the main and southern altar were consecrated by the local dean in a vast, solidly and magnificently arranged church. The choir of singers from the cathedral church of the city of Kozlov sang the dinner. And from that time in the Kazan temple with. The divine service began on Turok. But the builder of the church, Alexander Turovsky, did not live to see this day. He died in 1888 and was buried on the north side of the temple. In 1934 the temple was closed. It housed a granary. In 1942, the residents of Turovka wrote a letter to the Izvestia newspaper about the opening of an Orthodox church in their village. It is published in January 1943. In August 1946, the Tambov Regional Executive Committee made a decision to transfer the building of the Kazan Church to the faithful and did not interfere with the repair.
