- The construction of the church took 15 years, the first stone was laid on December 19, 2003. Recently, the temple has completed finishing work and interior arrangement, as well as painted walls and arches. On October 28, Metropolitan Theodosius of Tambov and Rasskazov consecrated a church in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in Kotovsk and celebrated the Divine Liturgy there. Since March 4, the priest Vladimir Belyaev has been the rector of the church.
