- Purchased in 1973, Virgin Mary Church was the first Coptic Orthodox Church in Melbourne, Australia. In 2007 St. Mary Church underwent a full renovation and refurbishments for the adjoining houses to the Church. More Sunday school classes, a new kitchen and car park were added to the property.
