Ιστορία:
The Panteleimon Church is a unique monument of history and culture, which at one time (in the presence of a bell tower) had considerable town planning significance for the low-lying part of the Votkinsk city - the plant. Consecration of the church of St. Panteleimon the Healer took place on January 4, 1895. In the spring of 1922, the Panteleimon Church, like all the churches of the Kama region without exception, was deprived of those few values that were in its sacristy. Liturgical silver items and salaries were seized, ostensibly for the "fight against hunger." On April 15, 1929, the presidium of the Uraloblispolkom granted the petition of the Votkinsk authorities to close the church with the transfer of the building “for a cultural and educational institution.” The agreement with the community was terminated, and the building was taken away from the believers. In 1929, all nine bells were dropped. The cinema in the temple actually functioned for several years, but in 1935 a mechanical workshop MTS moved in under its vaults. Demands were heard to return the cinema here. Around 1934 the bell tower was dismantled. Since 1956, the temple has been occupied as a small-scale commodity base, and since 1963 - as a bitumen products workshop, which had the most significant negative impact on the architectural monument. In the mid-1970s. industrial extensions from the north and south were made to the temple. In the 1980s. the temple occupied the workshop of the soft roof of the city woodworking plant. On May 7, 1991, a session of the City Council passed a decision on the return of the St. Panteleimon Church to the members of the Russian Orthodox Church. In 1993-1995 the first works were carried out to return the building to a look acceptable for conducting divine services. In 1995-1997 work has stopped. But in 1997, work on the restoration and restoration of the temple continued. The great consecration of the temple took place on January 31, 1999 by the Ruling Archbishop Nikolai of Izhevsk and Udmurt. The bells were bought and hung on June 27, 2002. The consecration of the bells was performed on July 2, 2002. At present, the restoration and restoration of the temple is complete.
