Ιστορία:: Originally started as Saint Eanswythe Orthodox Mission in 2007 at Folkestone within the ROCOR Jurisdiction, then moved to Bournemouth and Christchurch. In 2013, Father Thomas of Nottingham looked after the Mission at Oxford initially then at Isleworth where it became the Saint Birinus Orthodox Western Rite Mission. In February 2014, Metropolitan Silouan of the Archdiocese of the Christian Orthodox Church of the British Isles and Ireland welcomed us into his Jurisdiction, appointing Father Chrysostom of Poole to oversee the Western Rite within his Archdiocese.
