- The parish of the village of Bodia (Bodyinskoye, Yakshur-Bodya) of the Sarapulsky district was opened by decree of the Vyatka Spiritual Consistory of July 5, 1860. Services in the prayer house were held from August 5, 1860. It consisted of: the village of Bodinskoye, the village of Yakshur, the village of Chekerovo, the village of Vyzhoil, the post office of Kenervai, the post office of Kechshur, the village of Bolshaya-Oshvortsa, the post office of Novy Cheker, the village of Kizyadzi, repairs along the Izh River. These villages used to be part of the parishes of the villages of Kekoran, Chutyr, Golyany, Sosnovka and the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Izhevsk. In 1861, Z.N. Popov, at his own expense, with the help of parishioners, built a wooden church, which was consecrated on November 27 (December 10 according to the new style) in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. There was one throne, it consisted of a priest, a deacon, a sexton and a sexton. The church stood on the outskirts of the village, by the road, on the right side of the street. There was a coniferous forest all around. In 1869, parish guardianship was opened at the church.
