Arrival in the village. Bolshaya Kivara was created in 2010 on the initiative of priest Dmitry Zhenikhov, who came to us for permanent residence from the Perm Territory. We have adapted a room in the former administrative building of Kivarskoye JSC, where services are still being held. October 3, 2010 residents of the village of Bolshaya Kivara will remember as one of the most important days. Namely, the consecration of the cross and the ground on which the temple will be erected in honor of St. Xenia of Petersburg. In the fall of 2013, the foundation for the church was laid by local parishioners and the Votkinsk construction company. On February 6, 2014, a festive concert in honor of St. Bl. Ksenia of Peterburgskaya, the proceeds from the concert went to the construction of the church. Every year on June 6, a religious procession takes place in honor of the glorification of Bl. Xenia of Petersburg. Pilgrims come from all cities and regions of the Republic. On June 6, 2014, the glorification of Xenia of St. Petersburg is timed with the laying of a stone in the altar of a temple under construction. The consecrated stone was laid by: Archpriest Valery Belokrylov, Dean of the Votkinsk District, Archpriest Dmitry Zhenikhov, rector of this church. On July 31, 2014, parishioners of the church in honor of St. Xenia of Petersburg visited the holy spring of Seraphim of Sarov, Perm Territory. In the fall of 2013, our parish was visited by the abbess of the Holy Elizabeth Monastery near Minsk, Mother Iulania. With the blessing of His Eminence Nicholas, Metropolitan of Izhevsk and Udmurt, on November 1, 2014, in the prayer room in the village of Bolshaya Kivara, the Divine Liturgy was served for the first time, which was served by Archpriest Dmitry (Zhenikhov), the rector of the church in honor of St. bl. Xenia of Petersburg. In 2014, Orthodox exhibitions “Holy Russia, Keep the Orthodox Faith” were held throughout Russia. Our icon of St. bl. Ksenia Peterburgskaya took part in the exhibition. In addition, the Sacrament of Baptism and the funeral service are performed in the prayer room. The Great Blessing of Water is held annually on the day of the Baptism of the Lord in the open air, on a pond.
