- The church is stone, warm, built at the expense of D.P. Durov in 1777. There are three thrones. The main one is the Assumption of the Mother of God, the side-chambers are St. Demetrius of Rostov and St. Nicholas of Mirlikisky. The temple was closed in 1939, then gradually destroyed. Local residents purchased a residential building, where in 2006 the Church of the Assumption of the Mother of God was created. On October 11, 2008, with the blessing of the ruling Bishop, the temple was consecrated by the dean of the Michurinsky district. Currently, the Divine Liturgy is celebrated once a month by Priest Alexander Chernetsov. There are 323 people living in the village of Uspenovka.
