History:

The stone church in the village of Krasivoe, Kozlovsky district, was built in 1880. at the expense of parishioners. Three thrones: the main one is the Protection of the Mother of God, side-by-side: St. the prophet Elijah and the Meeting of the Lord. In 1933, the church was closed and the building was in charge of the collective farms located on the territory of our village, "Dal Harvest", "Jupiter" and "Mars" (there was a collective farm on every street). Later they united into one collective farm "Russia". In 1960, the Druzhba state farm was organized, grain warehouses were placed in the church building, and at the beginning of 1980 the church building was empty, it was ownerless. In 1990, the building was returned to the Church, the parish was registered, and the restoration of the temple began. The old domes were removed, new ones were made from these samples, covered with iron and installed. In 1993, the restoration of the temple was stopped due to lack of funds; it was resumed only in 2002. In 2002, by decree No. 7 of April 1, Archbishop Eugene of Tambov and Michurinsky appointed a rector to the church. The service was held in an abandoned building of the former Krasivskaya school, because the church had no floors, windows, doors. In the same year, at the expense of parishioners and donations from benefactors, the restoration of the church began, the roof was covered with iron, window frames and door blocks were inserted, and the floors were laid. In 2006, the church was heated and equipped with a boiler room. A temporary iconostasis was made in the church. October 14, 2006 with a small rank they lit up the main throne - the Protection of the Mother of God.
