- Kimisis tis Theotokou features a rigorous Liturgical cycle including many weekday services. Paraklesis to the Most Holy Theotokos is offered every Wednesday evening beginning at 7pm along with Paraklesis to St. Nektarios of Pentapolis the last Monday of each month at 7pm. - Greek immigrants would settle the Mid-Hudson River region in earnest in the late 19th century that led to the building of the first Greek Orthodox Temple in 1924. The community would relocate to its current location on South Grand Avenue in the mid 1960's when the cornerstone was laid in 1967.
